Curriculum

For Academic year 2019-2020, admissions will be open from Nursery to Grade XII, The school is affiliated to Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) New Delhi, India and shall follow the NCERT curriculum.

At Abhyuday School, conceptual learning will be integrated with thematic teaching. Creativity is infused with thinking skills as a prerequisite to gaining knowledge and skills.

The school shall lay great emphasis on the life skills curriculum to encourage emotional resilience and a concern for the society to make our students the torchbearers in the changing world.

Individualized learning modules with the freedom to pace it out is another important attribute that shall differentiate Abhyuday School from the others.

PRE-PRIMARY EDUCATION

Play Way Method of Teaching (2 ½ Yrs to 5 ½ Yrs) aims at learning by doing. Learning from the surroundings and connecting the school to the immediate world. Experiencing the material world through sensory activities to enhance the skills will be the focus while keeping the value education connecting to our roots. The focus will be on Language development, Pre math concepts as well as experiential learning through hands on activities according to the developmental needs of the children

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (GRADE I TO VII)

NCERT curriculum with CBSE syllabus is followed from Grade I to VII comprising, English, Maths, Environmental Sciences, Second Language as Hindi and Third Language (Grade VI to VIII) as Sanskrit. All the students follow compulsory courses in Music, Dance, Art & Craft, Physical & Health education and Computer from Grade I. Education is innovative and learner oriented. Classrooms are equipped with teaching aids. Participative and inter-active approach is followed in teaching. Assignments and Project work are given as per CCE (Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation) for all round development.

SECONDARY SCHOOL (GRADE VIII TO X)

NCERT curriculum with CBSE syllabus is followed from Grade I to XII comprising, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Second Language as Hindi and Computer.
